Merida Blanca

I don't know if you know that Merida is better know as ciudad blanca or white city, this week I have been here I was looking for a big house like this one to shoot and make sense for its nickname. The nickname is not because we have only white houses, but it's not far from reality, white is a color that really helps you to stay in peace and fresh from Merida's weather, even our local clothes are white like huipiles and guayaberas. The real reason that it's called white city is because we use a white material to build.
Back when I was packing all my clothes for the two months I am going to stay in my hometown I didn't think I was packing too much black but I did, Mexico city is really cloudy and rainy so I normally wear too much black without a problem. But here it's another story. So it would be hard to use all the things that I got there but meanwhile I really like how it looks in this pictures, taking  black and white to another level.
