The Golden Detail

I don't know about you, but weather definitely influences my mood and my style.
During spring, I wear a lot of tank tops and shorts in different colors and light fabrics.
Summer is when I get to bring out my all black outfits. ''Why?'' You might ask Cause there's an overcast everyday!.
In addition to endless rain this time of the year is also when  mosquitos swarm.
It seems like no matter how many times they bite they never get enough blood!
This is the reason why you'll frequently see me sporting socks with sandals.  
I understand that this is a huge fashion faux pas, but it's what's most efficient for my situation.
If  I don't cover up, they'll attack my naked ankles. It's terrible, I know.
We still have a bit of Summer  left, so until then, I will be keeping my trusty socks and sandals at hand.
